“It’s like a visual tapestry!” I love this comment about my works on paper. They are all about pattern, light and color and they often tell a story.

I may have been a bird in a previous existence. The myths and folklore of birds and nature captivate me. How did the peacock get its tail? Who was Persephone?

 

I’m moved by life’s small wonders: dappled shadows; the curve of a line; a hummingbird’s wings flutter like infinity spirals....

Making monotypes involves the freedom to experiment and embracing happy accidents. It’s like drawing with ink.

 

After decades of printing by hand, I now have a fabulous Takach press that can print both etched and relief prints! I can do anything: combine drypoint with monotype, linocut with chine collé, make an edition… 

 

I fly into the studio each day, eager to begin!
